Since 1996, under the name sdw® Swiss Diver Watches, we have been manufacturing the world's first diving watches which are completely filled with a special liquid apart from a small air bubble. This technology (patented 1997*), the Hyperbar® Deep Diver System, passed the record-breaking 1,200 bar pressure test (SVTI No. 114'937) - the equivalent to a depth of 12,000 meters! - carried out by the Swiss Association for Technical Inspections SVTI (EMPA) in 1999. This greatly outperformed our previous test at 900 bar, conducted in 1996. Launched in 2002, the Hypertec® brand includes various high-quality classic ladies' and men's wrist watches, as well as a dedicated line of watches equipped with the Hyperbar® Deep Diver System.
